Orion pouted briefly, "Well, no need to be cold, I haven't got a weapon! My name's Orion, I'm a good friend of lil' Evie here." He grinned and ruffled her hair, much to her discomfort. Evie subtlely backed away and stood by Oliver's side when nobody was paying attention. "And this," he bent down and picked his moth-cat up, "is Koji. I stole him! He's from a Lux mutant experiment and he's my baby~" Koji's legs moved and his mouth opened to make a shrill chirping noise at Oliver.

Castiel shrunk back into his seat a bit. "O-oh, yeah... it's, um... chronic pain. I'm sure I've mentioned it before," he answered, letting out a very strained laugh and rubbing his knees. "It's really not as bad as it used to be, anyway," he added, not being able to lie and say that he was completely fine.
-------
Wither flushed and opened her mouth to say something when a warm orange glow illuminated Magnolia's side. She sat up, clearly annoyed, as Void leaped out of the portal. "There's a nurse coming," he said, his tail swishing the portal back into nonexistence.
------------
"I respect that," she said, already walking over to the water cooler before he answered. Kaleidoscope leaned over and filled the paper cup, her eyebrow raising when she heard him stammer. She handed it to him, cocking her head and staring at him for a very long silent moment. "... Do you have feelings for me? Romantically?"

She smiled, warmed by the wholesome interaction. She figured she needed more of it in her life anyways. "Celeste has always been fond of children. Maybe it has something to do with her having to take care of me all the time," Crysia replied. Celestial lightly nipped Percy's chin, a small sign of affection.
---------
"Wait, no." His mumbled were still drunken from sleep, "I think it's actually important." Rain lightly tapped her shoulder and pulled away, standing up and looking at his brother with concern. Crimson sat crisscrossed on a nearby tree branch, his cheeks cupped in his hands as he intently watched Reign.
"What's--" Rain began, but his brother shot him a glare and put up a pointer finger to his lips. He quickly returned his hands back to the blade, glaring and scanning the premise. Something's... hidden? Rain thought, still incredibly tired.

Celestial, happy to entertain the child, lightly rubbed her cheek against Percy's hand. Her dark eyes opened, glittering with starlight. When she parted her beak constellations were projected on her feathers, barely luminescent.
-------
Rain's eyes fluttered open to the sunset, incredibly annoyed by the vibrant reds that had been plastered across the sky and the scintillating sun barely peeking through. He could hardly see it through the forests, but any light was annoying to him, especially when he'd just woken up. He shifted ever so slightly and buried his face back into Scarlet's hair to get away from the light. There was the sound of a sword unsheathing nearby. Rain ignored it until his tired brain processed it, and he lifted his head ever so slightly. Reign's head whipped around the perimeter, his stance widened and his sword ready to attack.

"Thanks," he said, his tone brightening a little bit. Trauma's tail wagged, happy that he didn't have to run the errand anymore, with his demented tongue slightly sticking out past his teeth. Cas tossed it on the bed and patted Trauma, slouching back into the couch.
-------
Wither watched her silently, her head cocked and her face straight but slightly blushed. When she finished, Wither smiled softly and laughed. "You could have just said so," she teased, moving in closer and pecking her lightly on the cheek. Worried that she had insulted her, she added, "That was cute. You have a nice voice." She ruffled Magnolia's hair and flopped onto her back on the bed, looking up at the ceiling with the traces of her smile still lining her face. "Well, I'm glad we finally sorted that out."
-------
Kaleidoscope blinked sharply, noticing his blush but not addressing it. "Sure, if you want me to. I mean, I know you as Dark, but if that's what you prefer." She smiled at him. "Are you sure you're doing alright? Do you want some water? You seem flushed."

Crysia smiled softly, morose lightly imprinted on her saccharine lips. She had instantly recognized it as Lucifer when the volume was turned up. "It's quite alright," she replied, lightly clicking the pause button that she had seen Jackson click before. "It's... good to know where he went, though."

Crysia just nodded, greeting Percy softly. "You're too kind to be the Queen's son," she said aloud, Celestial silently judging her for not keeping her thoughts to herself.

Rogue coughed and looked away awkwardly, unable to meet Glacier's intense gaze. "Here's the thing, right," he started. "I don't really know them that well, again, and I don't think a lot of them would be alright housing a fugitive. Besides, I'm reformed! There's nothing like, uh, trying to bury your past, ya feel me? Worst case scenario I know another dragon in the same area as them. I've gotcha, buddy, no need to worry." He smiled crookedly, not wanting to mention that the other dragon had literally been part of a Royal Guard.
"Besides, it's not like you know about my past. It's not necessary to my character, y'know?"

"I've already taken them today... b-but I'm running low, yeah," he mumbled, blushing a bit in embarrassment. His chronic pain wasn't something he liked to force into a conversation and he surely didn't want to mention that it still hurt with the painkillers--they were merely there to keep him functioning, as opposed to immobile from pain.

Wither looked over her shoulder at the demon, who had still turned away from her, and took a deep but inaudible breath. She paused and figured there was nothing to lose. "... Do you have feelings for me, Magnolia?" She asked, her voice softened but still steady and firm.
----------
Kaleidoscope cocked her head--a rather animalistic thing to do--and glanced at the runes on his body. Her iridescent eyes sparkled with interest. "How does your magic work, exactly?" She asked, happily anticipating a long ramble.

Jinx watched her with almost sorrowful eyes, her tone mimicking Rowan's. She'd had the same conversations with her brother numerous times and subjecting another person to the same fate as him was, well... she couldn't bear the thought. She didn't know Willow all that well but she only assumed that she was good at heart--considering Yuzuki and everything--but that only meant that she could get hurt. Jinx sighed and returned to work. Two stubborn kids are enough for me, she thought.

Crysia blinked and shook her head in surprise, leaning her cheek into her fist and keeping her eyes locked on the young child that had suddenly appeared before her. "You've got a son?" She asked, raising her eyebrow and looking at Jackson. Crysia was still a bit void of emotion from the bind. After learning that he was Monty's son, there wasn't much that could surprise her anyways.

"It is, just don't go through it. People like to do their drug dealing there as of recently, and, well..." She shrugged and smirked, "it's good to stay as far away from danger as possible, even if it is everywhere." Jinx leaned on the counter. "Not to say that I don't think you're fine on your own," she complimented, her eyes flitting towards Willow's bat.

She laughed, "I gave up trying to keep up with human technology around the car... The Queen would probably prefer me sticking to, well, murder." Crysia wiped her face with her hands and brushed all of her hair over her shoulder, a bit drained. "Speaking of which, feel free to ask me if you ever need someone murdered~ I quite enjoy my occupation and I haven't had any challenges in quite a while." She smiled at him, lightly massaging her raven.

For a brief moment, before she was barely recollected, her vision was enwrapped by pure whiteness that slowly ebbed out back to the darkness that was Jackson's home. She could hardly see and the lack of light cast hazy specks in her vision but she was slowly adjusting and didn't seem at all frustrated. If all else failed, Celestial would help guide her back.
"Oh~ How modern," Crysia remarked, still not quite in her right mind. She checked the spot where the sigil had been and narrowed her eyebrows, surprised to find nothing. "You're telling me you can remove the mark, too?..." She lightly ran her tongue over her fangs and mumbled, "Monty's such a piece of s**t." Her fingers found their way to the mark on her thigh, shaking her head in defeat.

Evie looked over at Oliver, captivated by his sudden vindictiveness, and turned back to look at the pig. She could feel warmth crawling up to her cheeks and mentally cursed herself. In the distance, she saw a tall figure, wearing what seemed to be goggles, with a sniper rifle slung over their back. Too far for either of them to shoot with a pistol. As the figure grew closer she was able to identify it as male, with a bright red streak in their hair. That's... there's no chance, right? she thought, biting her lip and lowering her gun. A moth cat scrambled out of the bushes and followed closely. Evie swore under her breath in disbelief and put a firm hand on top of Oliver's, forcing it to lower.
She put her pistol back. "Orion," she called out before she rose, grabbing his attention. He snapped his head in her direction and put his hand on his rifle, but smiled when he realized it was her and walked towards her with open arms. "Evie, dear, it's been a while! I see you're here to piggyback off my kill, which is always exciting~" He embraced her before she could reject and she uncomfortably scrunched up, Koji happily making his strange click-purr noise.
He let go of her and looked at Oliver, still grinning. "Oh my, you have the brightest green hair--I'd say I could spot you from a mile away, but I clearly didn't."

"N-no, it's okay," Castiel said, shaking his head but feeling warmed by the offer. He was constantly grateful for having Nanaki as a friend. Trauma almost moved to pull out a chair for Amaryllis but figured that the bed was good enough, especially since he didn't want to leave Castiel's side when he was feeling shaky.

"I'll stay with you," Wither said firmly, patting Void's shoulder. He looked back at her with scintillating orange eyes and cocked his head. "You go." His whiskers twitched and he spoke for the first time in quite a while. "I would, but I don't know where the hell anything is around this place. Haven't been here even a day."
Wither briefly explained the directions and, upon seeing Void's lack of confidence, mumbled, "You'll be fine, just figure it out. Ask around if you need to, they're all friendly here." He huffed and leaped off of the bedside into an orange-rimmed portal.
Wither sighed softly and rubbed her temples, her gaze casting over to Magnolia with pain. "It's kinda funny, isn't it? We manage to infiltrate the demon base and steal a goddamn military airship without a scar and end up finally getting hurt over a dumb incident. By me, nonetheless... God, I don't know how to make it up to you, Mag... I hope you're not taking it personally, I really like you," she rambled, flinching when she realized what she said.
------------
Her eyebrows furrowed, "Well, having a crap ton of scars doesn't mean it's alright to get more... especially not from a measly practice session. You're sure you're really alright? It'd be a bit idiotic to try and play down pain just to seem strong, y'know." Her face softened and bit and she stuck out a hand to help him, the last bit of her sentence a bit more lighthearted.

Crysia inhaled sharply when he got close and shrunk back with alarm when he touched her, murder bubbling in her eyes. Realization and logic struck to her and she was calm again; she stared straight into his cross-shaped gaze as he spoke with a blank expression, releasing a long sigh of ecstasy and slinking back into the couch when she felt the bind leave her. "Just call me next time," she mumbled, her words slurring together and her hand weakly reaching for Celestial. She had forgotten the feeling of breaking a bind, the lightness she felt as the weight of a second mental state was lifted off of her, perhaps because she had only felt it once before when the Queen had broken Monty's bind.

"Hey, Willow?" Jinx called out, her soft and nimble voice still somehow audible in the small apothecary building. She stapled a receipt to a paper bag and looked up. "Can you do me a favor and deliver this for me? He'll be waiting by the old church on Mulberry Street, just make sure you don't go near Rosenberg on your way there--it's a bit of a sketchy area, y'know?" Jinx pushed her sheet of ink black hair behind her shoulders and pulled it back into a low ponytail.

Castiel waved and smiled, his heart picking up speed. "It's been a while since I've had the pleasure of seeing you~" Trauma purred in greeting, raising his head off of Castiel's lap and swishing his tail in greeting. His tongues flicked as he spoke and Cas patted his bone forehead, still shaking off memories of his past. His spine was beginning to grow sore again and he knew standing up would be an effort for him, but he said nothing.
-------
Her eyebrows furrowed in worry. "Hey, hey," Wither cooed softly, "are you hurting still? Do you need a paramedic?" Void padded in from the kitchen, managing to hold both an ice pack and a water bottle in his mouth, and put his paws up on the edge of the bed in front of Magnolia. His ear twitched and he glanced at Wither in confusion, but he set the items by her stomach and instead leaped on the edge of the bed to curl up.
------------
Kaleidoscope froze mid-gesture, her hands still raised in the air to control the massive spike of light that she had created hovering over Dark. She closed her fists and it disapparated into clouds of luminescent dust, to which she quickly fell to her knees by his side. "Oh, God, I'm so sorry... I get caught up in it sometimes, it's been ages since I was actually on the field," she said. She blinked sharply when she realized what she had said, not actually recalling a moment when she had ever been on field--her memories were as limited as Spectrum's, sadly--or fighting outside of the Rebel Camp. Any hazy memory disappeared the more she thought about it.
She sighed gruffly and turned her attention back to Dark. "Are you injured?"

Crysia rolled her eyes and stroked Celestial, giving him an unamused smirk. "There's no use in keeping things from someone you're bound to. Should've thought about it beforehand," she grumbled back, even though she had pretty much forgiven him for binding her at this point. "It's a strange concept to me, but I suppose there isn't much else I can do but support you." Her eyebrow raised. "It's not like I have much of a choice in the matter, but so be it."
