LakeClan:
Dewy ferns rustling, Foxpaw stretched out her hind-legs, her svelte body quivering as she awakened her tired limbs, disturbing the verdure nearby. Her soft pelt was warmed by the sunlight filtering into the mostly vacant apprentice's den, which she now wearily observed with a tired amber gaze. Had her litter-mates survived childbirth, they would have most likely been here, sharing the joys and triumphs of apprenticeship that she now faced alone. Albeit it didn't bother her too much- or at all, really- Foxpaw liked having her own space.

After another good stretch, the roan apprentice ventured out of her den, casting a hungry glance at the fresh-kill pile. She noticed that much of the prey stored from the previous night had diminished, and flicked her eyes up to the sky. The sun stared back, glowering and beaming so brightly that she had to look away. "Late morning," she muttered. She was glad she hadn't been on dawn patrol, or she would've slept in and completely missed it!
