I was always trying to live by the
rule of "it helps to know serenity from ennui" ; I came to
the bitter conclusion that even misanthropic people like me can
shut themselves in for a long period of time, but the wish for
telling others how you feel just won't fade.
I think it's possible - if unhealthy - to live w/o kisses, hugs and human touch ; but the necessity of self-communication seems to be deeply rooted in human nature. May it be anonymous posts, chatting w/ strangers, feeding your status, sharing images/art or the good old talking face-to-face: everyone has to do it, otherwise they turn mad. It's a sad reality that human beings aren't self-sustainable when it comes to the psyche. Music, movies, videogames and entertainment in general provide a temporary distraction; waking up from these experiences may shatter the fragile world one built up for themselves to delve in and forget. It's not possible to keep the illusion of not feeling lonely up forever; the moment before you're falling asleep for example is the most vulnerable one since my thoughts, hopes and wishes are the only thing keeping me entertained for that time. If I'd knew a remedy for this numbing, hollow, empty, lost, unresting and anxious feeling I probably wouldn't write this. Ironically enough, this can be considered my way of venting and fighting this darn human need. Children. Small people just starting to experience life and all joys and pain that comes with it. I have to side with Trump here; the perpetrators are nothing more but evil, sore losers that make everyone else suffer trying to achieve their petty goals. Just imagine a family letting their child go after they begged for months to see their favourite artist live and now they're never coming back, just because of someones selfish, twisted and immoral delusions. It sickens me, almost as much as it saddens me. My heart goes out to everyone involved in this act of violence. [Read more] |

its bad. Cant believe they butchered up the main series like that.
Aghh the argonians just look hideous, rip my fav race;;
I'm not the target audience I suppose, I don't particulary like mmo/mmorpgs. I'm extremly happy that this game is not an official elder scrolls part and more like a spinoff thingy. If this was canon I'd be really dissapointed, since all the other games focussed on roleplaying. They are essentially d&d games in video game format. It's just so shallow and I'm dissapointed. Yea they improved the character creation but that's like the only new thing I liked, even though I don't really care about customizing your hero. The villages look generic, the monsters are generic, the online function is broken for people w/ bad internet (like me). I really do hope that elder scrolls VI will stay faithful to the spirit of the older games and not delve further into mmo territory. [Read more] |

thoughtsEven when you're on the internet, where you are mostly some sort of representation of yourself, feelings could get hurt. Might it be a rude comment, a honest opinion, art critique, disinterest, rejection or ungratefulness - sometimes you can't help yourself but take those things really personal. It would be wrong to assume that everything others say is a lie, and vice versa, but keep in mind that on the Internet you are judged for the things you put on there, and not for the person you really are. Unless you tell everybody everything about yourself you will always have a bunch of things nobody you're talking with knows about. The "attacks" you get are directed at your projection, your online presence, and the hurting comes from another online presence. There are real people behind these, but we may never know the reasoning behind their words and arguments. Taking everything others say/might think about you close to your heart won't further your growth as a human, rather halt it. Maybe start asking yourself if the things you consider hurtful are in fact hurtful and not attempts at jokes or words to help you. Maybe rethink your actions so that you can become a better person in the future - and maybe you just have to move on and ignore the people that plain don't like you. PLS LOVE ME BACK JUMIN
