Afaik, Share Widget only uses Male sprite of your Pokemon in case there's gender differences in male and female sprites. If you want to share your Pokemon that have female counterpart sprites, it's best to use links in your Pokemon's profile

It's not really a bug, but for me it's kinda annoying since there are Pokemon Male and Female counterparts of which are very different (like Meowstic, Oinkologne or event Pokemon like Lilyfleur/Eldelium)
