The monster smiled. And then broke free of the stone hands. The fire and water didn't even seem to faze it. Jake clenched his fists. He summoned up a piece of metal from the earth. It turned out to be a sword. He rushed the monster, did a baseball slide, cutting one of its legs. He then got back up, now behind it, and stabbed it in its back.
The monster fell to its knees. Jake pulled the sword out of it and then stabbed it through the neck.
The monster fell down. Not moving.
"Lesson number three." Jake said. "There are some enemies, like this one, who are resistant to any and all Elemental attacks. This one in particular seems to be completely invulnerable to elements. When you find enemies like this, they are the most dangerous."
He then turned to Mystique and Lauren. "Whereas for whatever controlled you two during our training. You'll have to tell me about it. But first we have to save as much citizens as possible. You two together."
He looked at Cam, then seen a new person. He could sense that other person had two elements. "You two together. And I'll go alone in search of taking out their commanders and leaders."

Jake was exhausted. He had used his reserves for the day. Needed time to heal his spirit. But he isn't going to let the new people have all the fun. He summoned up giant stone hands and grabbed the monster to hold it in place.
"Whatever you're gonna do, do it now!" Jake ordered.
The monster looked calm. Happy even. Something is not right, Jake thought. If all of these meteors held a monster, then we could be in trouble.

(hence why there is a spirit possessing people with power. I'll explain that part later.)

Jake cursed to himself. He has seen this before. It was done to him before. In the other universe. "Did it feel like a voice in your head? Telling you what to do?" Just then, an explosion happened a few miles away. Jake looked at the location where it was and then seen meteorites falling from the sky. And one was heading right towards them.
"Everyone down! By me!" He ordered. He made a giant shield made of rock, steel, and plants. The meteorite let out an explosion as it landed. But then something fell off from the shield.
It was a body. It got up and Jake could see every detail. It was a monster, standing at seven feet tall. Horns on its head. Built more than the most built human in history. A permanent snarl was on its face. It's eyes glinted blood red. Hands were big and beefy with claws included.
"Okay, Mystique, you wanna kill something? Let's all try and kill this."
The monster smirked. "Puny Elementists. Your powers don't work on my kind. I eat your kind for breakfast."

(I see where your going. I had a similar plan, but we can mix it together.)

Jake dodged the spheres. He glared at the two. "So you were gonna hit someone while they were down, huh!" He walked over to them. "I'm training people who are noble. Ready to save the universe! Not people trying to make a statement! If you want an actual fight, you will be sorry that you pissed me off. The point of this excersise was to show you what happens when someone uses their reserves." He brought up his hand, which slowly turned to stone. "This is what happens. And there is a big possibility that I could have died during this excersise!"
Jake punched Mystique in the face. "Never! Try something like that again!"

	Jake reappeared and sent rock shards their way. Time for them to see. He then used his reserves and turned into a massive stone giant. The fire didn't even seem to effect it at all. It then made stone hands shoot out and keep them all confined. He stopped and turned back to human form. Jake fell down to his knees. "Dang that was a workout." He said panting [Read more]

(so basically, to gain an element. A person must survive gaining it. If you don't, element rejects you, you die. Jake has Earth. Mystique, Water. And Cam and Lauren have fire. We are now at the part where Jake is training them in how to be an Elementist. Now is the part where Jake is teaching them about the dangers of using your powers too much, reserves. In which case you use your soul on reserves and when you run out of that, your soul is basically being destroyed. So Jake is showing some of the reserves power as of now. Reserves is basically the strongest the Elementist can be as a last resort kind of thing.)

Jake let dirt and mud spray everywhere. "If you can't beat em, then you gotta go on the defensive." He said. He made plants grow all around the three of them, entrapping all of them easily. He then summoned up something metal from the earth, when it popped up, it was a shield, old and rusty.
Jake didn't stop there. He then disappeared into the ground as if was quicksand and he waited.

"what I mean is that if you use too much, it can turn out to be like when you go for an element. Wether it rejects your body or not. Except this is way worse. If you use too much, you enter the reserves stage. That basically means that you are using your very soul to keep the power coming. And if you use your reserves up. Your soul will dissipate and be no more." Jake let that run through their minds. "It is only to be used as a last resort. It is the most powerful an Elementist can become. Just so you know what it's like to fight a stronger enemy and know the dangers of using reserves, I will use some of mine."
Green aura from the earth started to pour into Jake. "You have one goal. Defend, until I stop using my reserves."

	Jake noticed something happening by him. He turned around and said, "team excersise it is then." He let the aura from the earth surround him, he then sent a small bit of green energy to Mystique's water sphere, and it turned into a giant rock ball landing with a thud. "Good job." Jake said.
