"Its Flaming Trees . Anyway the dragon spirite as we all know is a sort of energy givin off by the crystals found on this world and many others. It is also the same energy that is given off by many living things. As this is true it is especially important to the dragons as the crystals give them life as in a way the dragons "soul" comes from the energy given off and returns to the crystals when they die. Both riders and dragons are able to detect the dragon spirit with the right amount of focus and in a way this gives us a sort of second sight. Riders tend to use the dragon spirit as well in battle as if you know how to properly use the energy it can be used for both attacking and defence. Though there is a certain race of dragons who have no connection to the dragon spirit whatsoever. Those dragons are known as the souless which are completly void of the dragon spirit and are incapable of using it. Though at the same time this seemingly makes them more like ghosts.

"Your supposed to learn. Your punishment is training as a dragon rider and therefore you must learn you must go through all the training the others riders have. It's not all fun and games here a rider must be both physically and mentally prepared before being allowed to leave this school and help the dragons" blackstar said in response

Rogue sighed "It's pointless wind. I would much rather kill this dragon than keep going like this. the longer we keep this up the farther they take Lunath from us. I will go straight to the heart of water dragon territory myself if i must. besides it would be much easier if i was the one to go"
