Flare didn't budge much as Crystal tried to push her. The Braixen put a paw in front of Crystal. "You stay out of this. You don't know what this is all about, as if there's a point to it."
"Though for the third time I DIDN'T DO THIS," Alex nodded in agreement. "I have nothing to do with the attackers, nor do you with our business." He threw several ninja stars straight at Flare. She dodged and leapt into the air, her sword risen. He dodged just as she struck, her sword drilled into the trunk as she landed on the branch. He jumped to the ground. "We're continuing your training then, huh? You could probably use it."
This angered her even more. She shot a Flamethrower at him. It hit this time, but of course didn't affect him much. "Flare," he began. She stared at him with furious eyes. "Calm down."
She realized she was so angry, she had started a small trail of fire that was slowly expanding. It died down as she yanked her sword out of the tree with one tug and jumped to the ground. "Sorry." She apologized. "True, though. He didn't do this."

Alex had a calm expression. "I just said I didn't do this. I was only out training.. mostly," he said. "It is possible I can get away with that if I wanted to, though."
"Yeah, right," Flare muttered. She always hated how he had a huge advantage over her, as well as a level difference.
"It's true for you, though. Sorry," he told her. She growled and lunged at him with her stick-sword. He quickly dodged and jumped into a high tree branch with almost no effort. His speed clearly outmatched hers. "You have a lot of training to do. Might as well hurry and get back to it after getting these Pokémon out of here."

Flare stopped and looked down at both the Pokémon. "Who attacked...?" She asked, trailing off as her strange feeling grew bigger. "Wait," she looked up at the night sky, staring up at a tree that towered over them. Suddenly, she fired a few ninja stars straight at a branch, yelling "Hyah!"
The branch barely shook as a swift figure leapt out of the tree and landed on the ground in front of them. "Up for some nightly training, huh?" Flare knew it. It was Alex.
"What do you want?" She sighed, having a huge disliking to the Frogadier.
"Nothing."
"What are you doing out here?" She asked.
"I'm always out in the forest. What, do you think you have a chance at getting better than me?" He replied teasingly.
"Why don't you just evolve? You'd probably be the best greninja in the dojo." She questioned sarcastically.
"Why would you care? I'd rather train for a while first."
"Did you do this?" Flare asked, pointing to the Flygon and Eevee.
He shook his head. "No. I didn't quite know until Crystal here told you." He said. No wonder she had a weird feeling. This annoying frog had watched her training from the trees. She punched at him; he didn't bother to dodge or resist. "You can always do better."

Stormfly's embarrassment was replaced with surprise as Rustclaw stalked something then ran back. Turning curious, she carefully approached whatever had sort of repelled the warrior, almost jumping back as she saw it was a snake. She took quick steps to get away from it and decided to go for a magpie that stood on a tree root a small ways away. She darted at it, making a bit of noise, but managing to claw and bite it before it could fly away.
