Jack grunted as the ping-pong ball flew past his paddle and hit the ground behind him. He conceded defeat to Jake and picked up their scoreboard.

"Well, the score now stands at 975,259,100 to 974,930,987. You still have a long ways to go to catch up to me," Jack said, smiling. This scoreboard was the only object that revealed the truth as to just how long the Conduits have been surviving without Arceus, and Jack and Jake never revealed it to anyone.

"Well, a win is better than a loss in any scenario!" Jake took the scoreboard and tucked into a little invisible pocket of space behind his head. All sorts of conveniences were stored there, and it was one of Jake's best inventions.

"Well, time to see how everyone else is doing."

The two twins walked upstairs, where many Conduits were sitting at the tables in the kitchen. They sat down and silenced the room to begin the day with the announcements.

"Good morning, everyone! Up bright and early, and today is a special day! Jake, tell us what happened."

"Well, one of our leads has expanded, and we might have a general idea of where enemies might be located. Luckily, they don't seem to be a threat to us, but now is as good of a time as any to train a bit! Meet out in the backyard in 15 minutes, sharp!"

[btw, i am not power-playing, you can come or not come to this, ~~although it is highly recommended by the plot~~]

"Ok, we are going to split up a bit here. People that feel either scared of their powers, not in control of their powers, or unknowing of their powers hear over to where Jake is, and he will help you. All others, come with me and we will work on fine-tuning and maybe practice sparring."

Drake finished placing spacial barriers where he was guarding. Deciding that nothing could penetrate that now, he blinked over to where the rest of the wardens were fighting. He saw one dead warden on the ground, but more importantly, there were monsters to kill.

He summoned blades of space and thrust them at the monsters nearest to him. But there were too many. The Wardens were getting outnumbered, so he had to resort to the pistols. He whipped them out and started blasting monsters. He set up a barrier around him, to protect himself, and concentrated on picking off the monsters that either looked the strongest or were putting his comrades in the most danger. Meanwhile, every monster that lunged at him was stopped by his invisible barrier.

John woke up in the cabin and sighed. He realized that he was the only one awake in the cohort, which was good. He didn't have any enemies, but he didn't really have that many friends, either. Becoming the centurion of the 3rd cohort was more of a decision based on battle prowess than popular vote, and he knew that there were some people who disliked that. He realized that he had a few minutes alone, so he flipped his wristwatch over and pressed the hidden button on the back...

Shaun was asleep in his room when an alarm went off. Nothing too loud, just a quiet beep. Shaun jolted up, wondering if this was the alarm he thought it was. it was! He grabbed a small remote with a video screen attached, and pushed a button.

In a small tree in the forest near San Fransisco, a small helicopter whirred to life in an abandoned nest. Rising up, it made its way down-town, into the Caldecott tunnel, where it entered New Rome.

John walked outside of the cabin and saw a small chopper flying towards him. He smiled to himself slightly, amazed at his brother's ability to get small objects past guards. Not to mention compacting a technology that complicated into that small of a shape. He walked over and allowed the helicopter to land on his palm, before projecting a small video screen, with Shaun's beaming face on it.

"Hey! Hows it going over there! Still incognito?"

"Noone here knows about you."

"And noone here knows about you."

"Great! So how are things over there? Camp dissolved into chaos yet?"

"nope, still going strong!"

John and Shaun discussed camp occurrences, while John took mental notes. Information would be useful to have when attempting to prevent a war between the Romans and the Greeks, not to mention that third party that, to him, was still shrouded in mystery.
