On the 28th of Feb (2016), I broke my little shiny drought with a shiny Mincinno! Unfortunately, it has worse statistics than the previous one.
But, on the 2nd of March, I found a shiny Eevee in the normal type friend safari! It has a lonely nature, its hidden ability Anticipation and max IVs in HP and Atk. The best thing for it to evolve into is Leafeon it seems.

On the 6th of March, while hunting for more Eevees, I found a shiny Aipom in the normal type safari! It has the ability Run Away, a rash nature and max IVs Def and Sp.Def. Although it wasn't what I wanted, I'm still really happy to get it. Aipom is definitely up there in my favorites. I'm surprised I didn't hunt it earlier.
I named him Dexter.

On the 24th of Feb (2016), I found 2 more shinies! Both of them were found in different normal type friend safaris.
The first shiny was another shiny Eevee. This one has the ability Run Away, a lonely nature and max IVs in Atk and Sp.Def. I don't see this becoming anything other than a Flareon, but I'll hold on just in case.

The second shiny was a quick one which I found in about 4 or 5 encounters. It was a shiny Teddiursa. It has the ability Quick Feet, a relaxed nature and max IVs in Sp.Atk and Spe. Basically, it has horrible stats. But it's still a cute shiny.
I named him Gumdrop because Gummy Bear is too generic.

On the 21st of Feb (2016), I found and caught, not one, not two, but three shinies! What an amazing stroke of luck!
The first shiny I found was a shiny Audino in the normal type friend safari I was hunting Eevee in. It has a lax nature and max IVs in Sp.Atk and Sp.Def. It also has Klutz for its ability which I guess is good with Entrainment?
I named her Hart Curie.

The second shiny I found was Nosepass which I found in about 18 horde encounters on Route 10. Wasn't really expecting it and it caught me off guard. It has an adamant nature which is the only good thing it has. It has max IVs in Sp.Atk of all things and the ability Magnet Pull.
I named him Nose Nugget because he's gold like a nugget and has a nose. Yep, that's the only reason.

The third shiny was Rufflet which I found in about 11 encounters in a flying type friend safari about 9 minutes after Nose Nugget. I REALLY wasn't expecting it and it caught me REALLY off guard. Unlike Nose Nugget, it has REALLY good stats. It has a naive nature, max IVs in Atk and Sp.Def and Hustle for its ability (which will become Defiant when it evolves).
I named him 'Murica.

On the 19th of Feb (2016), I found and caught ,not one, but two shiny Eevees in a normal type friend safari! I got both of them on the first encounter after a break.
The first one has a calm nature, max IVs in Sp.Atk and Spe and its hidden ability. Stat-wise it's good for a Jolteon or Espeon, but since it has its hidden ability, I think Espeon will be a better choice as it will get Magic Bounce instead of Synchronize.
The second one is little more disappointing. It has a calm nature, its hidden ability and max IVs in Atk and Sp.Atk. The best possible evolution will be Umbreon, but it'd still be bad for an Umbreon. So I probably won't evolve it.
I haven't named them yet because I'm not too sure what to evolve them into.

On the 6th of Feb (2016), I was just killing some time during a car trip by hunting in a normal type friend safari, feeling like I wasn't really going to get anything. But, I found a shiny Ditto! Unfortunately, It doesn't have Imposter. I let it transform into my Volbeat since it had the highest catch rate on my team. However, I forgot it had Moonlight (a healing move) so it was hard weakening it. I was able to catch it in a dive ball.
It has an adamant nature and max IVs in HP and S.Def and was holding some Quick Powder.
I named it Toothpaste because it looks like mint toothpaste.

On the 14th of Jan (2016), I was lucky enough to find and catch a shiny Girafarig the day after I caught Primrose in the same friend safari. I sometimes think that some shiny Pokemon looked better in the previous generations than in Gen 6. Girafarig is one of them. It's nose just looks too blue and really out of place. It has the ability Early Bird, a modest nature and max IVs in HP and Spe. So it's pretty good. I've always liked Girafarig's type combo. I really want there to be Normal/Ghost type one day.
I named her Déjaraffe from déjà vu and giraffe.

(The colour here is a little off because shiny Girafarig in Gen 6 has much darker colours)

On the 13th of Jan (2016), I was hunting in a psychic type friend safari and found a shiny Munna! It was the one I wanted least (the others were Sigilyph and Girafarig), but it's still a nice-looking shiny. It has the ability Telepathy, a calm nature and max IVs in Atk and Spe. Apart from its nature, it has bad statistics. I'll probably try to find a better shiny Munna to evolve into Musharna.
I named him Primrose which is a yellow flower which blooms only at night.

On the 3rd of Jan (first shiny of 2016!), I found a shiny Cubchoo in Frost Cavern in Pokemon Y by horde hunting. It didn't take too long to find this one which surprised me since Frost Cavern seems like a cursed place for shinies. It has a careful nature and max IVs in attack. It also has its hidden ability Rattled, which will somehow become Swift Swim when it evolves?
I named her Bogi Bear.

	On the 30th of Dec (2015), I finally found a shiny Basculin on Route 21 in Pokemon Y by chain fishing! Since I used the good rod and not the super rod, I didn't have to worry about Final Gambit. It has the ability Reckless, a brave nature and max IVs in Sp.Def. I named her Bargantua which is Basculin's french name. [Read more]

Christmas Shiny!
On the 25th Oct., Christmas (2015), I was shiny hunting for a shiny Delibird in an ice type friend safari. But, I found a shiny Cloyster instead. I easily caught it in a nest ball. Just over midnight on the 26th though, I found another one.
Now I'm stuck in a weird situation. The first one has max IVs in HP and attack which is good. But it has its hidden ability, Overcoat. Of course what I wanted was Skill Link. But since Overcoat is its hidden ability, I can't change it with an ability capsule (just have to wait till B/W remakes I guess).
The second one has max IVs in attack and speed which is also pretty good. It also has Skill Link. But, it has a -Atk nature which badly cripples its attack.
Oh, but both of them were holding pearls.
I named the first one Bombshell and the second one Bombardment.

	On the 22nd of Nov. (2015), I found another shiny Oddish! This time I found it in a grass type friend safari (I was hunting for Quiladin). Unlike Oddium, this one will be evolved into a Bellossom. It has a mild nature and its hidden ability, Run Away (it'll become Healer when it evolves). It also has max IVs in Def and Speed. I named her Floria. [Read more]

	On the 21st of Nov. (2015), I was able to catch a shiny Beautifly from a bug type friend safari! It is a pretty-looking shiny, though its just a disguise to get close to you so that it can suck out your fluids. It has a hasty nature, the Swarm ability and max IVs in Attack, Defense and Sp.Def. I named her Morbie because of its Pokedex entry. [Read more]

On the 14th of Nov. (2015) I found and caught a shiny Slowpoke in Pokemon Y in Azure Bay by horde encounters! I was planing to evolve it into a Slowbro because I really like its shiny, but it looks like its better suited to be a Slowking. It has a sassy nature (+Sp.Def -Spe) and max Sp.Def IVs.
It does unfortunately have Oblivious for its ability, but all I have to do is wait for Gen 5 remakes right? I named him Poker King.
I also caught another shiny Wingull on the 8th while trying to find Slowpoke. It has a bad ability and nature.
