Hello, I'd like to offer an unshaded halfbody for 500k PD (or equivalent in nuggets) in my digital art style

(For context, the last time I opened PWYW commissions, I was offered 400-600 Nuggets for my shaded pixel fullbodies, back when Nuggets were about 2k PD each. I don't mind if you reject my offer if it's too high, though)

It will take about a month, apologies if it's really long as my semester is starting! I will offer updates of the sketch and lineart at least!

Feel free to request a particular art style, I just don't particularly have the time for pixel art right now as it needs my laptop

Also, I would appreciate having at least 3 characters to choose from!

I have about 2.7k lab eggs, from about 4 years as a reasonably active non-premium user from 2015-2018 This is a bit of an ask for non-premium users, who already take a month for most shiny hunts. I meant it the other way round, actually, since most examples in canon are non-regional pre-evo vs regional variant evolution

So another example is thay there's no Galarian Mime Jr, but there's a Galarian Mr Mime

Edit: Also, just to double check, Gen 6 and later sprites from PH cannot be used for sprite edits, but an offsite sprite from an artist that allows sprite edits is okay?

Several questions

1. Does it have to be a full evo-line? I'm assuming yes, as Pokeheroes treats regionals as a type of event mon usually, but main game precedent means that some regionals only exist as one evolution in the whole line (E.g. Exeggcute to Alolan Exeggutor, Cubone to Alolan Marowak)

2. On that note, is making another evolution for our regional variant, to a line whose regular variant doesn't have one allowed? (e.g. Mr Rime, Obstagoon, Sirfetch'd, Overquil)

3.

Quotecopyright: The sprite has to be done completely by you. You are not allowed to include (parts of) sprites from other artists, excluding official sprites, which can be used as a base.

Does this mean sprite edits are only allowed for Gen 5 and earlier mons, because the Gen 6 ones are done by other artists?

4. (general sprite contest question) Do shinies need to keep the details of the pokemon 100% the same? The one that immediately comes to mind is Breloomio's shiny (see the hat) but I think there might be other emera mons who also have slightly different shinies

Side note: if yall have issues visualising what a regional variant is, you can consider them re-typed versions of the same pokemon, but also tied in with Emera Town lore/features

I compared the number of Shiny Retro Ho-Oh on-site, compared to most other event-exclusive retros, and the shiny rate is over 2.5 times lower than the stated 2%. No other retro has a shiny rate of below 1%, unlike Ho-Oh.

In fact, I believe Ho-Oh is the rarest Shiny Retro onsite, with all other retros having over 10 shinies.

- Note: I ignored more common/less valuable retros, as people are more likely to release the non-shinies (e.g. Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Sentret, Hoothoot, Togepi, Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Rattata, Zubat, Koffing), leading to a higher than actual shiny rate (some of them hitting 3%, usually those with more than 50 shinies onsite)
- Also ignored shinies that did not have the fixed 2% rate: Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Meganium, Typhlosion, Feraligatr (Retro Radar means more people chose to only catch shinies), Magikarp, Ducklett (guaranteed shiny from event), Tentacool (likely uses beach shiny rate instead)
- I'm not familiar with how the Retro Gastly's line's shiny rates were calculated, but I'm assuming it's determined on encounter, so people avoid catching it unless it's Shiny

The shiny rate is so low that I wonder if it's a bug, or if it could be looked into? Thanks!
