Einfacher Stil ist nicht unbedingt schlecht. Es muss halt eine packende Geschichte haben, das ist doch das wichtigste. Hatte mir wegen Ulldart Gedanken gemacht, das klingt von den Rezensionen nicht schlecht, auch wenns älter ist. Und wenn die Reihe an sich abgeschlossen ist, ist es ja nicht schlimm, wenn das ein anderes Buch Reihen zusammenführt. Das ist ja optional dann xD
Werwölfe und Vampire sind glaube ich aber nicht unbedingt sein "Bereich" hätte ich jetzt mal gesagt. Dann lieber Zwerge und Elfen xD
Und nein an HdR hat er sich nicht gewagt, zeigte aber auch kein Interesse daran. Ich glaube Tolkien ist nicht so sein Stil und Hobbit ging, weils im Grunde immer noch ein "dünnes" Buch ist.

Hohlbein hab ich vieles da, aber ganz ehrlich? Seitdem er Massenproduktion schreibt, kann ich ihn nicht mehr lesen. Und das will ich dann auch nicht unterstützen :'D

Pratchett ist definitiv nicht sein Autor. Genauso wie Moers. Das ist ihm dann zu platt. Nichts gegen Humor, er hat auch Bartimäus gelesen, aber das ist nicht das, was ihn fesseln würde.

@Flohpulver Hatte mir auf Amazon Rezensionen angesehen. Auf Deutsch soll das ganze wohl ziemlich schlecht übersetzt sein, dann werd ich, solange er sich nicht an englische Bücher wagt, wohl drauf verzichten müssen.
Neil Gaiman werde ich mir aber auch noch einmal angucken. Prinzipiell mag er ja SciFi, aber da kommts wohl auf die Dosis an.

@Bethmora Die Reihe klingt total nach Bartimäus! Was er auch gelesen hat und glaube auch mochte. Ich werd das mal recherchieren (und im Fall der Fälle sonst für mich kaufen >D)
Was Die Zwerge angeht weiß ich nicht... es geht dann vermutlich auch wirklich um... Zwerge? xD Mit Protagonisten und so? Ich glaube ein Mix wäre da besser. Oder Menschen. Er ist nicht ganz der Zwergen-Fan (oder muss man das gar nicht sein?)

	Er hat dieses Jahr erst angefangen, Serien auf Englisch zu gucken, ich will ihm nicht jetzt schon Bücher vorsetzen, soweit ist er einfach noch nicht und ich weiß nicht, ob er das je sein wird (Bücher sind immerhin noch was gänzlich anderes als wenn das Ganze von Bildern unterstützt wird). Mal was anderes, völlig ohne Pokémon und so (*gasp*!)
Geht an vornehmlich die Herren, aber vielleicht können mir auch die Damen weiterhelfen.
Mein Freund hat vor einer Weile mal verlauten lassen, er würde gerne mal wieder etwas lesen. Da das so selten vorkommt, würde ich ihm diesen Wunsch gerne erfüllen. Am besten zu Weihnachten xD
Jetzt wirds tricky. Am besten wäre (High) Fantasy Zeug (Er liebte das Lied von Eis und Feuer und auch den Hobbit, liest aber sonst echt wenig). Gerne eine Reihe, die sollte aber bereits abgeschlossen sein (was Älteres ist also völlig legitim). Einzelbände gehen natürlich auch gut. Das ganze sollte nicht zu kindlich sein, sondern schon eher für junge Erwachsene oder eben Erwachsene sein.
Vielleicht habt ihr ja Ideen =)

(Ich wäre ja auch noch über Vorschläge von Markus Heitz interessiert. Ich weiß, dass er gut sein soll, aber vlt kann mir jemand was darüber erzählen, wie "leicht" das ganze zu lesen ist und ggf welche Reihe für ihn/sie am besten war und wieso?)

You don't have to. FR rules say that it is okay to share an IP if the accounts don't just interact which each other (like one is just used to keep dergs because of cheaper lair expansions. Or more gathering turns)
But you may add that line on your profile to be safer

From FR guidelines

Below is an example of a scenario that would be considered multiple account behavior:

A brother, sister, and mother sign up for Flight Rising to play. These family members exchange items, currency, and dragons while playing normally of their own accord. (No problem - this is okay.) Later, the mother and sister become disinterested in the site and give their remaining items and dragons away to the brother. (Also okay!) Afterwards, the mother and sister decide that they will log in every few days to only complete their gathering turns, pull from Pinkerton's Pile, and send the gathered items and Well Fed bonus currency directly to the brother. They no longer have interest, and no longer actually play for themselves.

This is where it breaks down and the violation occurs. The mother and sister have stopped playing, and the sole purpose of their accounts is now to benefit the brother's account. Whether or not the brother has login access to the accounts or not, all three are participating in multiple account behavior.

Gifting, trading, or sending items/dragons/currency between accounts (regardless of whether they share an IP address or not) are all acceptable forms of gameplay. It is when one player registers or uses "side" accounts that exist solely to benefit another that it creates a skewed and unfair gameplay advantage.
