(( thank you. I appreciate that a lot. Something we may consider in the future is a posting order, it helps a lot with the confusion and gives people a chance to keep up. I've been role playing a long time, and it helps a lot))

She waited patiently for the other cats to back away from the bush. Her tail wrapped calmly over her paws, dark eyes gleaming into the shade of the leaves. This was a cat other clans feared, they told their kits stories of her, telling them if they weren't good Shadedfur would eat them in the dark of night. At gatherings warriors would tell their apprentices never to fight her alone in battle. And in this moment, before her clan mates own eyes she shattered that portrayal.

The small, scarred she-cat stepped around the bush, no longer backing Ollie against the tree and instead giving him the option to run. She laid down without a word and rolled onto her back, exposing her soft belly in a sign of trust. A purr rumbled in her chest, broken and rough but soothing nonetheless. She softened her gaze of and curled her tail invitingly, as a queen would to her frightened kit.

"Oakpaw!" The she cat snapped in annoyance. "That mouse-brained..." She trailed off in a grumble before darting after him. She lost the trail for a few moments but found it again when it mingled with Foxstep and Thornpaw. The ferocious feline came to a trot and then a stop behind the other cats. She caught the scent of a young kit and took a few steps back, watching the other cats try without obvious success to get the kit out from under the bushes. "Perhaps we should all give him space. You've cornered him against a tree. No matter how docile you make yourself look he's going to remain frightened."

(( I'm not saying you'd have to wait until Thursday for a reply. I'll only get a few replies in a day until I get home Thursday. So basically a few tonight, a few tomorrow, and then I'm free))

((The point cats are ignored is one week without a response, not a few hours. I'd like to know if I'm actually welcome in this portion of the plot when i can't be on all day. I'm away on vacation and my computer won't connect to the Internet. Not to mention I do have work when I get back home on Thursday. I'll be able to post more but not be on all day. If that's something that can't be delt with then I'll have to sit this plot point out. No matter how much I want shadedfur to show the rare soft side for Ollie because /I/ haven't had a plot point /period/ now, if I must then we can say she never left camp, because there's no way in hell she'd let an apprentice run off on his own.))

((sorry, I'm on a trip right now so my posting is a tad slow. Once I'm back home I'll reply MUCH faster))

"Come, Oakpaw," she mewed before jumping into a steady paced run to stretch her legs. The scent of fresh berries soothed the frightening she-cat and the quick pace stretched out her muscles. By the time she slowed down her mood had lightened considerably and her pawsteps were softer. Shadedfur came to a halt beside a tall rock and flicked her tail towards it. "Climb up, tell me what you can sense." Already she could scent a recently passed patrol on the other side of the stream and hear a water vole scratching under the soil. A fish broke the surface of the stream and sent ripples over the calm surface of the water, and a bird called far in the distance in distress.

"Right..." Again she had to hide the twist of her lips and padded passed her leader and deputy with a dip of her head towards Foxtrot. "Those who are remaining on patrol, follow me." The sound of the kit's voice made her tail tip curl and she stared down at her with frighteningly cold eyes. "Set you're goal a little lower kitty pet. Just try not to get eaten."

"We'll check the boarder along the stream, we may be able to find a water vole or two for our wounded clan mate."

Slipping out of camp the small black she cat paused to look around. Her red-orange eyes gazed at her surroundings before she opened her mouth slightly to scent the air. Blood tickled her tongue and Shadedfur broke into a trot towards her clanmates, tail low. The scarred she-cat rounded a berry bush to come across the patrol with a wounded Yellowsting and a sneezing leader and the white tipped ears twitched curiously.

"Flintstar," she greeted in a curt mew, dipping her head respectfully. "I see the patrol has been cut short. Would you like me to continue it?" Her eyes fell on the newest member of the clan and her lips curled in distaste. A soft mouth to feed, why would Flintstar bring this kit into the clan? Her tail tip twitched and she wiped the expression from her muzzle.

Picture/Description:

Personality: A feisty she-cat with a hostile attitude. She's respectful of her clan mates but her long claws and sharp eyes intimidate most felines. Shadedfur is a powerful cat despite her relatively small size, making her feared as one of the deadliest warriors. Though with the tactful battle strategies and expert moves comes a draw back. She often over calculates while hunting, resulting in many failed captures.

Kin: Shadedfur is a clan cat down to the last drop of blood. Her parents were both clan born and died together fighting valiantly to save their clan. They rested in a puddle of their mixed blood, their paws intertwining and noses touching in a final farewell.

History: This cat has a long, jagged scar along the right side of her body. Most cats don't know how she got it but rumors spread like wild fire. Some think it was a fall, others a ferocious battle or dogs. Only a few cats know the truth.

Password: grassclan

Other: She has an ambition to become the deputy one day, and will fight to earn the trust and loyalty of her clan to be rewarded with the title.

She stretched, her spine arching up then down, front legs extended while her claws flexed. When she relaxed again Shadedfur let out a long sigh before padding over to the fresh kill pile to take a squirrel. The tender green leaf flesh made her purr despite the tuffs of brown fur getting caught between her teeth.

Bones crunched between her powerful jaws as she devoured her meal until only scraps of fur were left behind. The small she-cat licked her lips clean with a low purr before settling herself down for a nice wash, lapping at a paw and dragging it over her face, cleaning the scent of fresh kill from her whiskers.

When Shadedfur took a moment to survey the camp a chill went up her spine. Only one other cat was with her. Kioiki (Why Mangostar didn't demand a true warriors name was beyond her) was the only other warrior in camp it seemed. She hissed in irritation and gulped down the rest of her meal before taking action. What if the camp was attacked? She could put up one heck of a fight but not even she could take on an enemy patrol single pawed, plus the threat of badgers and foxes. She hissed again.

"Kioiki!" She yowled across the camp grounds. "Sit sentry at the entrance until the patrol returns. And let Mangostar know I want to see her." Her voice commanded respect and obedience, strong and powerful despite her size.

Shadedfur darted to the medicine cat den and poked her head inside. "Wishflower, are you there?"
