At first he thought his eyes were simply overreacting to the daylight he typically never had seen in the underground, but no. There was a bright light there, clear as day: and it was talking to him. Saying something about this place being called the Fields of Mercy? And some dude that destroyed his world by clapping? Karriko simply wouldn't believe what the light was saying. The light became brighter, and soon it was a struggle for Karriko to see. When he was able to open his eyes comfortably, he noticed in his hand was a gem, a deep purple which was somewhat brownish, the sunlight bounced off of it like a diamond. He then noticed the peculiar note on the side. "For those who are worthy." Worthy? Of what, exactly?He wasn't really paying attention to the Light's explanation that much, but he felt as if this gem had some sort of power that may help him later on, possibly. He knew the power that rocks could have: Karriko had experienced it first hand. Karriko didn't have any pockets, so he started looking for some spot on his attire that would be able to house the gem. However after giving up on finding a spot, he realized that the gem had left his hand somewhere in the process. He looked everywhere in the grass, it wasn't until he got up and looked down for a better view of the area in which it could've fallen that he noticed that the gem itself had found its own resting place: right in the middle of the Z emblem he wore on his chest. Karriko glanced back to see that some of them have awakened like him, but Karriko wanted nothing to do with them at the current moment. He especially noticed the winged reptile had also awoken, so it was also a deterrent for him, as although he was a reptile himself, he had a bad history with them, especially in his world. He didn't know any otherworldly dragons, so it was best for him, at the current moment, to try and stay away from them. [Read more] |

The ground was a silky green, that of which he had only seen outside the Underground, and even then, the grass was never THIS vibrant. Looking up, he saw the clouds scattered across a light blue backdrop as they moved across the landscape, which was not too hilly, but was enough for it to be noticed by the naked eye. The blades of grass seemed to dance alongside the wind in a co-ordinated fashion, as the bent to the gentle breeze that accompanied the place. There was also the faint sound of a crashing waterfall, which apparently came from a hill not too far off into the distance, cleanly cut to allow the water to fall into a small pond formed below, surrounded by thick, lush weeds that encompassed the body of water. Karriko however was still concerned with the situation. After all, he had no idea where he had ended up, and often times beautiful things could conceal dark secrets if he wasn't careful. Looking around to scan the area, he noticed something he hadn't seen as his vision was somewhat blurred: Other people. Tons of them, all seemingly of different species and sizes. Some were clearly human, while others were... quite clearly not. Karriko decided it was best to get by himself, unless he saw Pit or one of the others along the way. Pit was still speechless at the words the headphone-wearing figure had said. They didn't surely have that same vision... They couldn't have... But as soon as the elevator doors slid open, Pit didn't believe what he saw: People. Tons of them. All crowded in the same place Mario had told him to go. Or, at least, the person looked and sounded awfully similar to him anyways, although Pit had seen his fair share of imitators. The figure with the headphones looked at him with an expression that looked smug and frightened at the same time. "...Guess you can't doubt it now, can you?" they stuttered. Pit nodded slowly: he knew that this figure feared him, as their posture had been very similar the last time Pit had seen them. The figure began to slowly release themselves from the elevator wall, although it was quite unclear as to whether they were starting to open up to him, or were simply trying to leave the contraption as swiftly as possible, but there was a chance it could've, possibly, been both. But they were already out tof the elevator before Pit could question them. He walked past the metal doors, and looked out into the plaza. I wonder if they all came here for the same reason... Ralsei looked around the plaza. He had never seen this many people here at once, let alone at such a late hour. He began to wander around, until he bumped into a slim figure wearing headphones.  "It's honestly fine," the figure stated. "I've had my fair share of cuts and bruises."  "I'll be okay, I can just-"   The figure was silent, though unclear if he had nothing to say or was deeply in shock. The figure clearly never experienced magical acts, let alone healing ones.
