Fern sighed. "Of course everyone ignores me. Again." She hadn't had a friend since... She didn't want to think about them. She used to have two friends, but they had disappeared, never to be seen again. The three had been really close... Ever since then, she'd been a loner, more like a Darkness than a Nature. She was afraid anyone she befriended would disappear just like Andrew and Thomas had. Now, Fern couldn't help remembering them.

Andrew had been a Light, and one of the smartest Fantasies in the camp. Well, at least Fern thought so. Okay, maybe Fern had a LITTLE crush on him before he had disappeared. Andrew was always that positive guy who seemed to know exactly what to do, and he could cheer anyone up if they were feeling down. Even remembering him made Fern a bit more cheerful. He was not too shabby in a fight either.

Then there was Thomas, who had been a Weather. He specialized in storms for a reason; he was the grumpy, sarcastic one who balanced out Andrew's cheerfulness. He had a quick temper, and you REALLY didn't want to get on his bad side. When you got to know him, he opened up a bit and actually was pretty nice. Also, he was pretty good on the offensive, and he was an amazing ally.

Maybe she would find them someday. (Okay, maybe she was more focused on find Andrew than Thomas.) She did get out of camp a lot to look for them, but they weren't in the forest, or even near the Regular's land she had looked in.

Fern looked up, surprised. "I'm from the camp. For a long time, I thought it was the only safe place. I've been there for years, but..." She cut herself off, then continued, "My name is Fern. About that villain... I think a Darkness made up that story. It seems like one of them to make cute little girls seem evil." She laughed, but didn't seem to be very emotionally into it. A bit of resentment to the camp was building up inside her, and it was hard to hide that feeling. Her eyes always seemed to tell everything. "If you're not from camp, where are you from?" she asked.

Appearance: Pale skin, long braided dark brown hair, usually wears a green t-shirt and jeans.

The staff makes it easier for Fern to channel her power. She usually incorporates vines somewhere, wrapping people in vines, making a thick vine barrier, etc.
