Title: Chapter 6“Oh, I remember this one!” she nearly shouted, recognizing the episode as a repeat. “The one about the old gang called Team Rocket, I think.” “Old as in they used to be around, or old as in they’ve been around for awhile?” “Former. Like, pre-Shattering.” “Ah, makes sense,” Giri replied, continuing to watch. “Back then, Team Rocket was notorious for stealing Pokemon and making a profit off them. The name of their first leader has long been forgotten to time, but was feared throughout the various regions.” Mistia glanced at Giri curiously, “Whatcha thinking about?” Giri removed her gaze from the TV, “I’m getting a feeling that Team Rocket’s still around. It just feels out of place for the Tauros to have been confused out of nowhere so close to our location.” Mistia tilted her head, “So you think they had something to do with it?” “I wouldn’t put it past them.” “Okay, then why target us?” Giri shrugged, “That’s the part I’m stuck on. You’re a star student at the Great Tree, learning from four teachers, three of them who happen to be Legendary Pokemon, while I’m some random student from Sinnoh who’s visiting in case I want to learn here. We have nothing in common.” “Maybe they were after one of us? Or they targeted us because both of us are learning from the best teachers in the entirety of Skylands, knowing that if they could hurt us, it’d also hurt them.” She stared back at Mistia, and she could see that Giri hadn’t actually thought of that. “That… actually makes some sense.” The room fell silent, save for the TV, which had gone into a commercial break. There was tension hanging in the air, and when Mistia checked Giri’s aura, she could sense that she was stressed. Not on my watch! “So…,” she said, changing the subject. “Is there anything I need to know about Master Skywalker’s family, other than Cat?” Giri blinked, then sighed, “They don’t like to talk about it. I don’t have all of the answers, either.” “Okay, then tell me what you do know.” Another sigh, and she relented, “Something about a ‘Jedi Order’ that used to exist. Whatever happened was bad enough that they will change the subject if it’s brought up. Just tread carefully when you ask questions, or don’t bring it up.” Mistia nodded, “Got it!” She sat down next to Giri, watching the TV. “Hey, mind if I change the channel to cartoons?” “You can change it. I got the important parts of the documentary noted down, anyways.” “Cool, thanks!” Giri didn’t understand Mistia. One moment, she was somewhat obnoxious, and then the next, she was being more supportive than usual. What was up with her? Turning back to the cartoons on the television, she would find her mind wandering. Should she have told her why she knew Team Rocket was still around? It would certainly help, considering that the news station yesterday was going to say that Team Rocket was believed to be involved in the Tauros incident before Mistia abruptly changed the channel. What were the chances that they were targeting her again? No. It’s not that important. Besides, the Controlled Chaos Squad is going to be with us. She would continue to absentmindedly watch the cartoon, Mistia pointing out her favorite parts of it. When it was eleven o’clock, Mistia turned the television off and grabbed her backpack. Giri had brought very little with her, so the only things she was taking back with her were a couple notebooks and a pencil that Master Zor had provided for her. “Come on! You’re going to introduce me to them, remember?” Mistia said, her seemingly boundless energy taking over as she jogged in place by the door. Giri rolled her eyes, but smiled as she stood up, “Yeah, yeah, I remember.” She felt… happy for some reason. She chalked it up to Mistia’s positivity being infectious, like it was during dinner a few days ago. The feeling of deja vu returned again, a little stronger than before. She stopped, confused. Why did she keep getting the feeling? Why was Mistia triggering them? Was she-? “Hey, you good?” She blinked, realizing that she had paused. “Yeah, I’m fine. I just got dizzy for a second,” she lied, walking over to Mistia. “Let’s go.” She wasn’t sure if Mistia believed her or not, but it didn’t matter. They walked up the spiralling hallway, towards the seventeenth floor where the Great Tree’s skydocks were located. The Controlled Chaos Squad would be landing soon, and then they would be leaving for Sinn’oh. If they were lucky, Padmé would be there, if for a short amount of time. Her planet still needed her, so she was away from the chateau for lengths at a time, usually a span of a couple months from what she heard being discussed one night. As they reached the entrance to the skydocks, they could hear the wind outside. “The view from up here is amazing,” Mistia told her. Looking around, she nodded, not saying anything. Instead, she walked over to one of the docks, peering down at the city below. She could see nearly everything below her. There was the Fortree Gym in the southeast portion of the city, the lush leaves on its roof a dead giveaway. Further east, she could see a mountain; Mount Pyre. The top portion appeared to be covered in fog, though it was hard to tell from this distance. “Hey, is that them?” She turned to Mistia, who was pointing south, then looked that way herself. Sure enough, she could make out a familiar skyship approaching the Great Tree. The Harmony. An ironic yet fitting name for the skyship that carried the Controlled Chaos Squad on their missions. From what she was told, the skyship had been ‘commandeered’ by the squad from one of Kaos’ many splinter groups before the squad had actually been properly formed. Since then, it had been their skyship, modified to their liking. “Yep. I’d recognize their skyship anywhere.” At the speed that it was approaching, one would think they were going to crash into the Great Tree. However, as it got closer, it seemed to slow down considerably, and it came to a complete stop at the docks. “Come on,” she said. “I’ll introduce you to them.” She led the way down the dock, spotting a familiar figure exiting the ramp. The black metal of her cybernetic arms, ears, and tail easily gave her away. Despite looking like she was eighteen, in actuality, she was twenty, soon to turn twenty one in a couple months. “Cat!” she called out. The woman glanced over, and she could see a smile forming on her face. She waved one of her metal hands, “Giri! How have you been?” “Fine, all things considered.” “That’s good to hear.” She looked behind Giri, “Am I correct to assume you’re Mistia?” She nodded as Mistia’s voice chirped behind her, “Hello! It’s a pleasure to meet you!” She moved past Giri, holding a hand out and bearing her signature smile. Cat took her hand and shook it, “Same here. Heard the two of you took on a Tauros!” “Oh, it was nothing! It was Giri’s plan.” “Oh?” Cat said, her gaze flicking over to Giri. She shrugged, “We just did what anyone else would’ve done.” The cyborg shook her head, “Anyone else would’ve fought it instead of taking your approach. What you two did minimized the damage done and prevented more civilians from being hurt.” Giri was unconvinced, but chose not to say anything. Mistia, however, seemed to grow happier, “You mean it?” Cat nodded, “Yup.” She turned to face the Harmony, “You guys can come out too, y’know. We’re going to rest a bit before heading back out.” Giri immediately knew who she was talking to. Mistia did not. From out of the ship, five figures, each one a different species, exited the ship. The first was a tall humanoid, taller than Cat. He had dark olive skin and wore a black robe with gold symbols stitched into it. He was Ganondorf, a Gerudo. Following him as a Faun, a Snake, and a Gorion Beast. The Faun’s name was Spring. She had brown and tan fur with red hair. She wore a gold and yellow dress and black leggings, and wore a pair of stained white gloves on her hands. A pair of goggles rested atop her head, her horns curving upwards. The Snake’s name was Prisma Shaduke. He had red, yellow, and black scales. With the sun hitting his scales just right, there was a blue shine to them. He wore a dark grey gradient cloak, which brought out the color of his scales even more. The end of his tail sprouted pure white crystals, which he used both as a weapon and a guiding light. The Gorion Beast’s name was Hector. It was rare to see one this high up in Skylands, but Hector was a regular occurrence when the Controlled Chaos Squad was involved. They had found him in an arena where his Dark Element was honed and trained unethically. As a result, he had turned a greyish purple with darker purple stripes, sporting a white mane. His eyes were a bright magenta and had white pupils, though that did not make him blind, curiously enough. He easily towered over the rest of his teammates. Tucker was the smallest out of all of them. Since his original form was a Noibat, his more humanoid form, which was a Drow, had more characteristics of the Pokemon. He had the mix of light and dark purple fur of a Noibat, as well as the wings and eyes of one. Around his chest and neck grew blackish-grey fur, and he wore a black suit that held no markings. As far as Giri knew, he could only glide in this form. “Oh, wow!” Mistia gasped as they approached. When they got within range, her friend rushed over, eagerly introducing herself with a bright smile, “Hi! I’m Mistia!” Spring, Prisma, and Ganondorf were the first to introduce themselves, with Tucker hiding behind Ganondorf at first. While Hector tried to pronounce his name, he resorted to signing it to her instead. That’s what she forgot to tell Mistia! Before she could let her know, Mistia asked, “You said your name was Hector?” The Gorion Beast’s eyes widened, and he nodded enthusiastically. Giri was surprised. “I didn’t know you could sign.” “Master Zor taught me like he does with everyone else. I’m sure he’ll teach you some if you decide to stay!” “Isn’t there variations depending on the species, though?” Mistia nodded, “Yeah! He knows all of them.” Without missing a beat, Giri smirked, “You make an interesting offer. Let’s see if you can convince me by the time we come back from the trip.” She was allowed to have her fun, afterall. Mistia stared at her, eyes having a determined glow to them, “Challenge accepted!” Everyone nearby who heard the conversation chuckled at the girl’s enthusiasm, Giri included. They were all beginning to walk away from the docks to head inside when Cat placed a hand on Giri’s shoulder. “You all head on inside. I need to catch up with Giri.” Giri could tell that she wanted to talk about the incident in detail. Everyone nodded, though Mistia lingered for a little while longer. Giri gave a single nod, “It’s alright, Mistia. You can give them a tour. We’ll catch up.” Her friend smiled again before quickly following after the rest of the squad. “There’s so many places I want to show…” her voice soon went quiet as they were out of range of the two who stayed behind. Turning to Cat, she asked in a serious tone, “So, what’s the problem?” Cat’s usual confident face had been replaced with a more serious one. Giri knew this look well. “I know the authorities believe that Team Rocket is behind the Tauros incident,” she started. “However, they haven’t done anything as far as I know.” “I know,” Giri replied. “I… don’t know if I can trust them to do their jobs. Who knows who Team Rocket has under their thumb.” Cat sighed, “Yeah, it’s unfortunate that corruption exists, even in Skylands. While I’m technically not supposed to be doing the job of an officer, I am going to ask you a few questions regarding the incident. Then, we’ll go from there. Sound good?” She thought about it for a moment. Unlike the authorities, the Controlled Chaos Squad didn’t answer to the highest bidder, no matter how much gold they were offered. They put morals before money. When she had been introduced to them for the first time, they had been nothing but accepting of her, even going out of their way to teach her how to fight, despite not possessing powers or a Pokemon form. They knew firsthand how cruel the universe could be. Nodding, she smiled, “Yes. I trust you.” [Read more] |

If I make a 3D set, but don't have the skills to make 3D Pokemon for it, am I able to draw a Pokemon on a piece of paper and use that as a part of the craft? (example, draw a Pidgey and put it on a stick or string) [Read more] |

When Cat woke up, the sun had yet to rise. This was perfect. She quickly and quietly left her room, making her way to the beach. Finding a secluded spot where no one could see her, she would morph into her Pyroar form, fire temporarily roaring around her before dissipating. Anyone else would assume she was a lion. The only way one could tell it was her was if they recognized her eyes and scar in this form. Without any further hesitation, she ran along the beach, avoiding the use of any Fire type moves as to avoid detection. Man, I love vacation! Cat thought as she ran. [Read more] |

Without waiting for a reply, she shrugged, "Well, I should probably get back to my room. I got a big day tomorrow." She stood up, heading for the resort. She planned on getting up early so she could beat everyone else to the beach. Maybe run around in her Pyroar form for a few minutes before the sun came up and stretch its legs so she didn't scare anyone. [Read more] |

"One time, before my squad actually became a squad, and there were just four of us, we were told to stay at the Academy instead of going straight to the hideout of the guys who attacked us. Good thing we decided against it, 'cause we wouldn't of found our good buddy Hector and recruited to the squad. Dude can easily carry a couple tanks like it was nothing. "Pretty sure that's the reason our squad is always under constant supervision by actual Skylanders, but eh, it was totally worth it. Half the stuff we do is pretty crazy, anyways." [Read more] |

She was intrigued by the answers she received. Ping's answer was the more mysterious of the three, and most likely one she wouldn't get too many answers from, and Cassandra's she could get see, so she settled with asking Angel first. "Ah," she said. Her mind went back to her adopted little brother, Tucker. She couldn't bring him with her, since she wasn't sure they'd allow him in. Maybe he'd be interested in reading the book, even though he wasn't allowed to fight, yet. She didn't continue the conversation, so when Cassandra left, she was alone. A few minutes passed by, and she grew bored. So, she followed Cassandra, spotting her sitting with someone else. Well, time to introduce herself to another person. She approached, "Hi again, Cassandra! Sorry if I sounded a little rude earlier." Turning to the unknown person, she waved, "Hello! I'm Cat!" Her tail positioned itself to convey how friendly she was.
