December 1, 1991
Today I was waken up by phone ringing. I picked up the phone and heard an elderly man’s voice. He introduced himself as John Hammond. He said he co-owns a company called InGen, and needs help cleaning up his island, Isla Nublar, which I had only heard of on the news. He knows of my work as a mercenary, yet I’m not sure how.

DAY 1
December 2, 1991
Yesterday after I finished writing the journal entry I walked to the subway to go to the location disclosed to me. Once I got there there was a private plane and an elderly man, presumably John, was standing outside it. He greeted me with a handshake and told me the rest of the crew was already on the island. I got on the plane and me and john discussed more about what I had to do. He said i need to get as many DNA samples as possible from the dinosaurs and if needed, to kill them.

somehow today i actually woke up with my first alarm with no problem. i guess thanksgiving break really helped my catch up on sleep. the cons of it is now i feel bored without all my family with me.
i don’t want to go to therapy today. i really don’t. i just wanna chill out on the couch and do nothing all day, i’m so tired from school and now i have to spend another hour that i can’t sleep through? no thanks.

so imma start with my luffy figure
his leg falls off. every time you try to pose it his leg falls off. also, the joint in his neck is super weak, so his head falls off pretty often. his joints are painstakingly squeaky and it makes me wanna rip my ears off.
now let’s talk about zoro
firstly he has a double layered skirt. made of not soft plastic. huge nono, it hinders all mobility in the legs and chest 🫠
his arm joint is super weak so that just falls off whenever
the swords hilts (specifically the kitetsu III) falls off and at this point i have lost the hilt completely
sanji, the last one i wanna talk about
it’s really weird to say this but… he’s essentially flawless
the one flaw he has is that i feel the cigarette is just gonna snap
other that that, the joints are loose, but not too loose where it’s annoying, his head doesn’t fall off, his legs don’t fall off
i think tamashii really excels at making figures in suits, cuz the loid forger one i have has essentially no flaws as well, but its funny cause even a perfect sanji figure can’t save this godawful line
im just waiting for yamato, gear five, law, and east blue nano and luffy to come out, hopefully they fix zoros skirt issue with yamato, and everything else with the new figures
these figures are godawful, don’t buy ten unless your willing to use superglue

i feel like a disappointment to my
family sometimes
im constantly missing assignments
im a social car wreck
i’m always inside
and i’m kinda overweight
ugh does it ever get better?
at this point my lifestyle is like a crash and burn until you can’t anymore, fix the car, then crash and burn again, rinse repeat
i made a deal with my parents that if i get high honors i go to tamashii nations (action figure store in NY) and last night my dad extended that to also getting his old comics (some will be professionally graded) the fine fine print is that i can’t have any missing assignments
less then 24 hours after the extension i gave up. i forgot about a homework assignment because i didn’t get the notification on my phone. no make ups. no way to come back.
i’ve hit rock bottom yet again.
not only that, but im hardly talking to people, i eat too much and none of it is all that healthy, and i never go inside either. i’m such a loser who’s probably dying alone unless i quit all my hobbies and get on the right track. but why would i do that? i’m comfortable here and my brain is wired to procrastinate unless i’m in actual danger or i don’t want to be doing something or somewhere
most of the time when i smile nowadays, it’s either forced, because im alone, or in bed
im never doing anything like this again where if i slip up once there’s no redemption. this sucks.
