This is a role playing game that takes place in a world that is basically the same as the anime/manga, but none of the characters from them exist. You can be a trainer, bad guy, or even a Pokemon if you choose.

The Professor of the Kanto region is Professor Pine. She has light brown hair and is in her late thirties. She has an assistant Pokemon, Mr. Mime. She will give starter Pokemon on a first come, first serve basis.

Available Starter Pokemon (subject to change): Pichu

Title: Marcus Capture-Journey Begins

Marcus Capture had begun his journey to become a Pokémon master. He and his first Pokémon, Charmander, were traveling through a forest when they came across a wild Weedle. Marcus used his Pokédex to get information on it.

“Weedle, often found in forests and grasslands. It has a sharp, toxic barb of around two inches on top of its head.” Marcus decided to make it his first capture. He threw his Pokéball.

“Charmander, let’s go!” Charmander emerged in a flash of light and looked at Marcus, unsure what his trainer wanted him to do. “Charmander use growl on Weedle.” Charmander used growl and Marcus called out the next attack.

“Good, now use scratch.” Charmander scratched Weedle with its claws and Weedle was weakened. Marcus was just about to capture it with his Pokéball when another Pokéball came out of the blue and captured Weedle first. Marcus was surprised. Two other people, dressed in threadbare clothes, appeared. One was a boy, the other a girl. The girl was holding the Pokéball that captured Weedle.

“Looks like ah caught mah first Pokémon, brother.” said the girl. The boy smiled. Marcus found his voice then.

“Hey, I battled Weedle. That was my capture, taking it is rude. ” The boy and girl looked at him.

“It’s not our fault you’re too slow.” said the boy.

“Thanks for your hard work though, hun.” said the girl, winking at Marcus. Marcus frowned.

“Fine, then I challenge you to a battle. The winner gets Weedle.” The two siblings just smiled.

“Isn’t he cute Billy-Bob?”

“Naïve is more like it Sarah-Sue. Let’s go.”

“Right, Koffing poison gas.” Sarah-Sue threw a Pokéball and Koffing emerged and used poison gas. Marcus covered his nose and mouth.

“Charmander, return.” coughed Marcus, recalling his Pokémon to its ball. When the cloud cleared the two siblings were gone. Marcus sank to the ground and sighed.

Title: Pete and Bulbs

Pete, a normal 18 year old guy, decided to begin his adventure in the Pokémon world. He and his buddy Bulbs the Bulbasaur were resting near a tree when they heard a strange noise up ahead. Pete and Bulbs decided to check it out.

As he was walking towards the noise, a girl and a boy, dressed in ridiculous clothes walked past them in a hurry. Pete wondered what was that all about.

"What's going on Bulbs? Maybe its better that we hurry." Pete started running towards the now visible purple smoke area with his trustworthy Bulbasaur chasing him.

When Pete arrived, the smoke was starting to clear out finally. But in the middle of the vanishing smoke there was a boy returning his Charmander to his Pokéball.

'I have to check if he is okay.' Pete thought as we ran towards the boy.

"Hey are you okay man?"

Marcus looked up at the sound of a guy's voice. A boy was heading towards him, followed by a Bulbasaur. The boy seemed to be older than Marcus, who was ten years old. Marcus stood up.

"Yeah, I guess. I was about to capture a Weedle, but two kids took it after I beat it. They ran off before I could try and stop them though." Marcus then remembered his manners.

"I'm Marcus, by the way." he said, offering his hand.

"Hey Marcus, I'm Peter but you can call me Pete." shaking Marcus' hand. 'Two kids?' Pete thought.

"How did they looked like?" He asked Marcus but looking back remembering the kids that passed right through him.

" Hi, Pete. It was a boy and a girl, about thirteen years old and dressed in old clothes. The girl had pig tails." replied Marcus. "They used a Koffing to cover their escape." he added.

Marcus wasn't sure if he would run into them again, or what he would do if he did. At the very least he hoped his information would help Pete if he ever ran into them. Pete seemed like a nice guy and Marcus didn't want what had happened to him to happen to Pete.

"Oh" Said Pete, more to himself than to Marcus. "I saw them. They past by me in a hurry, almost knocking me off my feet. Should we go after them? They are probably far away now.."

Pete helped Marcus to get up. He was clueless as to what to do now. Should they go after them, or just continue their journey?

Marcus thought for a moment then shook his head.

"No, I'm going to continue my journey and get stronger. If I run into them again I'll be on my guard." Marcus looked around. "I think there's a city that way." he said, pointing down the road. Marcus hoped he would see some more Pokemon along the way. He looked at Pete.

"You can come with me if you want." he said.

"Of course I'll come with you! I was heading that direction anyway." Said Pete. Marcus resembled a lot like Pete's younger brother. He had the same drive as him. At the same time it bothered Pete a bit but he had to pass that and just go forward.

"Well, then let's go!" Cried Pete excited. "To-" Pete's tummy started growling like a beast. Pete checked his watch. It was already 1 pm. "Let's eat something before we go, how about it? Maybe Tuna sandwiches?"

Marcus' stomach growled too. He hadn't eaten since he earlier that day. He put his hand on his head and chuckled.

"Sounds good to me." Then a thought occurred to him and he brought out Charmander's Pokeball. "Charmander come join us." Charmander emerged from the ball and blinked at Pete and his Bulbasaur.

"Char?" he asked, looking at Pete and Bulbasaur, then back at Marcus.

"That's Pete and his Bulbasaur." replied Marcus, "They're going to travel with us for a while." Charmander nodded and smiled before walking over to Bulbasaur.

"Charmander, char." he said with a smile.

After lunch it was time for Pete, Marcus, Charmander and Bulbasaur to continue their voyage to Criton City [just made that up, didn't know what to call the city xD]. They packed all their things and as they were about to leave, Pete remembered something.

"We haven't had a pokémon battle! How about we do one before we leave?"

Marcus patted his stomach, he felt much better after eating. He was ready to continue to Criton City. However, Pete suggested a battle. Marcus smiled, he hadn't had a real battle since he started his journey and it would be good expierience for both him and Charmander.

"Okay," Marcus smiled, "you up for it Charmander?"

"Char!" said Charmander jumping up with a smile.

"Who should go first?" he asked Pete.

"You ready Bulbasaur?" Pete turned himself to Bulbasaur

"Bulba!" Bulbasaur cried with happiness.

"Okay, you can go first" Pete turned now to Marcus.

Marcus nodded and smiled.

"Okay, Charmander use growl." Charmander used growl against Bulbasaur. Having just started out Charmander only knew growl and scratch, but that was one reason Marcus had accepted this battle. He wanted Charmander to get expierience and learn new moves. Another was that he had wanted to have a Pokemon battle since he had first learned of them.

After Growl, Bulbasaur's attack would be lower 'And Grass is weak to Fire' thought Pete.

"Bulbs use Leer then Tackle!" Despite how long Bulbasaur was with Pete, he still wasn't that strong so we only knew a few attacks but Pete trusted his Bulbasaur and that was the base of this whole dynamics. 'But we still have a lot to train, you and me' Pete said to himself. Bulbasaur used Leer on Marcus' Charmander and next plunged at him with Tackle.

Charmander was hit by Leer and his attack lowered.

"Dodge Charmander!" Charmander tried to dodge, but was slower than Bulbs and got hit with Tackle. Charmander was knocked over, but got back to his feet. Marcus was thankful he had used Growl to lower Bulbs' attack beforehand.

"Charmander use Growl again and the use Scratch." Charmander used growl again, then prepared to use Scratch.

This time Growl didn't effect Bulbasaur 'Thank God' Thought Pete not wanting Bulbs' attack to get any lower. "Bulbasaur prepare for the Scratch!"

Bulbasaur got hit with the Scratch but it didn't do a lot of damage. "Bulbasaur, Vine Whip Charmander!"

"Charmander intercept with Scratch." Charmander used Scratch, but Bulbasaur's Vine Whip still hit. Charmander was knocked back, but was still standing.

"Are you okay?" asked Marcus, as Charmander winced. Charmander stood straight and nodded.

"Char." Marcus smiled.

"Then give it all you've got and keep using Scratch." Charmander attacked Bulbasaur with a series of Scratches.

Bulbasaur got hit by multiple Scratch. It was not a easy battle for anyone but that's the beauty in fighting with Pokémon. 'I have to think of a strategy and fast' Thought Pete looking at Bulbasaur.

"Bulbs use Tackle and then Vine Whip! Finish him!" Said Pete to Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur nodded and attack with all his strength. No matter win or lose, this was the last attack. Both Pokémon couldn't stand any longer. 'Come on Bulbs'

"Charmander jump and dodge!" said Marcus. Charmander jumped and barely avoided Tackle, but was hit by Vine Whip and knocked into some nearby bushes.

"Charmander!" Marcus ran after his Pokemon to see if he was okay. Charmander had landed on top of a wild Oddish and was unconscious, making Bulbasaur the winner. The Oddish struggled to get out from under Charmander.

"Charmander return." Marcus recalled his Pokemon. "Thanks buddy that was a good battle."

"Oddish!" said the Oddish Charmander had landed on. Marcus looked at it.

"Sorry Oddish, we were having a battle with a new friend and got a bit carried away." said Marcus.
