I've seen mention that if you don't have every page unlocked, you can't find eggs that spawned there for you. Is that true? If so, is it something that can't be helped or just a massive troll on the newer members? I've been here 2 1/2 weeks and it's really frustrating that my first contest might be one I had zero chance of completing.

So, yes, it might be possible that some pages aren't accessible for you as you've yet to reach the mentioned level.

However, a certain trainerlevel being made a requirement to access certain pages that are relevant for the egg hunt has nothing to do with trolling or mocking newer users - it is simply meant to prevent people from creating multiple accounts and cheat their way into more than one prize (maybe other reasons as well, but the multi account one is probably the main reason.)
