Alex was lying in his bed, in his small room, in his very quaint house. A desk and chair were to the right of his bed, and a large desktop covered a window behind it. The monitor was still on, opened to a gaming site, as random pictures of multiple video games popped up on the webpage. The only other piece of furniture in the room seemed to be a dresser, clothes loosely thrown into the drawers, unfolded. Alex slowly awoke to the sound of his mom preparing breakfast in the kitchen down the hall. Refusing to open his eyes, he shifted, trying to fall back asleep. Most kids would be going to school right now, but Alex finished high school last year. As of now, he wasn't really going to school. He took a few online college classes, but they weren't hard, he didn't really need them. He often spent most of his time helping around the pokemon daycare his parents ran, or playing video games in his room. He wasn't old enough to get a job, and he didn't like the idea of going off to a real college, as he was 15, but he didn't want to stay with his parents forever. What was he supposed to do? He sighed, and got up, deciding he should at least eat now that he was awake. He attempted to crawl out of bed, falling and faceplanting into the carpet. Was his bed higher off the ground now? "Owww...." he muttered out of sheer annoyance, attempting to get onto his knees. He used his arm to brace himself as he got up, when he realized he didn't have hands. His arms were white, and he had... paws!
