So evryone knows about the 'Your egg hatched into a bla bla bla' and so i thought that there could be one just the same but evolving pokemon. So a pokemon evolves and then the tab comes up saying 'your ---------- evolved!' Most people have to keep checking to see if it evolved especially if you have a weedle or caterpie in your party and want it to evolve once and only 3 levels in between it evolving and evolving again this would help a lot. And I mean a lot! I had the same problem I just explained a few months back and no one had a spare on to trade so......

You agree? If so :D

You disagree? If so :,(

You don't mind? If so :|

If you don't want your Pokemon evolving then be sure to give it an Everstone for one. It's why they're there and can prevent any unnecessary evolutions of your Pokemon. If you need an Everstone be sure to check the Emera Mall, there tends to be a lot in stock.

Second of all, I don't think I like the idea of every single time a Pokemon evolves a notification would pop up, be it a Pokemon in my party or box or in auction house or in GTS or whatever. Would you somehow be able to limit the notifications just for your party? And if it's in my party, and I'm looking at it, and see it close to evolve I'd just throw it an Everstone.

Hm, but if you look in your nofis... you can see you pokemon in your party too. If they evolve, you see it. It´s a great idea... but, it a bit superfluous. I mean you can see it, that your Pokemon evolve. Eggs are something other, sometimes you don´t know, what pokemon it is, that´s helpful. Sorry, no hepl from me.

@Queeen pumpkaboo

Yeah just for the party and what happens (as my explanation said) that you wanted a pokemkn that evolves quickly to only evolve once so you know when to put the everstone on

No support from me, sorry. The egg notification is good for shiny hunters who are looking to hatch eggs, clear out the party slot, then grab new ones. (Or for people hatching just to get evolution lines started) Evolving is easier to keep track of, since on any day other than an x2 day it'll take at minimum a few minutes before a pokémon evolves. And if you're trying to evolve it once, but not twice, checking up on it isn't that bad.

And if this can't be limited to the party, for whatever reason, then I would get spammed with notifications when the pokémon in my trade box evolved, which would make it hard to do much of anything around the site for a while.

I actually still don't see the positive aspects of this suggestion.
In my opinion, no one really cares about evolutions that happen to Pokémon which are in storage boxes (at least I don't care).
If I want a Pokémon to evolve, then I normally put it into my party. And I don't need a notification to see when my Party Pokémon evolves, since I check these Pokémon frequently (through my userpage or the notification page).
Could you explain this a little further?

But how will you now if your caterpie evolves once to a metapod (say you need it for the dex) then your busy reading a forum thread or offline, it evolves again then you have to trade the butterfree away for another caterpie and start again.

How does this notification help me while I'm offline?

And normally, when I have such a Pokémon in my party, which levels-up and evolves pretty quickly, then I also check my userpage frequently.

I support this idea
It is very useful
Because of many reasons
Little fact: I made a trade for a breeding pair
And then went offline the person accepted
When I came back I only saw one Mon of that type
I searched whole storage boxes but found none
Then I remembered that it could evolve and found it evolved
Now I'm waiting for the other Mon to evolve
That pop up would really help

I will add up something to his suggestion...
This should be implemented in a way it doesn't affect the people who don't want it ...
Like for example in setting you could off evolving popup tab
For those who want it they can on it
Or when they want off it
Maybe in the misc settings
In this way it would be the user's wish if he/she needs it or not
It's just a random idea
